Vaalthu is an app that gives life to the static greeting cards by using augmented reality technology. It is in beta stage.
The charm of connecting with people through paper and pen in a Greeting card is amazing! ‘Augmented reality’ technology provides the opportunity to turn the ordinary paper greeting card to a screen on which you can watch a video with sound! It provides the warmth of personal touch covering the BEST of both physical and virtual worlds.
‘Vaalthu’ means ‘Greeting’ in Tamil language.
Absolutely! The handwritten letter is back and this trend is a perfect demonstration of the value of old fashioned Handwritten notes. ‘Vaalthu’ provides the warmth of personal touch covering the BEST of both physical and virtual worlds.
The sender creates a card, customize it with photo & video to go along with it. Print the card and mail it to the friend.
The receiver opens the postal mail and scan the picture from the Vaalthu to view the video.
It supports video playback or 3D models (just like Pokemom Go game).
